Hungarian painted blanket trunk. Circa 1880's. All Pine with original, painted blue base, and hand dovetailed joints. Inside still retains original, open glove box storage with non-working lock. Strap hinges are original, but have been given extra support with replaced screws.
This piece is a gorgeous vibrant blue that goes with almost every decor. The waxed pine top gives a clean look to an other wise rustic original European Trunk.
