Custom designed desk or table built from French antique architectural elements. Circa 1880's. Sides are French door panels, from the Mediterranean area, washed with paint (see below for color), sealed, and waxed. Front of desk/table is an arched piece of iron from a French door transom, wrapped in door molding, and finished to match the antique door sides. Center French iron piece still has some remaining original paint and has been sealed. Tops are made from 1870's split pine French farmhouse beams which have been stained, sealed, and waxed to match rest.
This is a piece designed by Charles Phillips from French antique architecturals. This piece is great for a desk in an office or home office. The top is flat and for the most part smooth when writing on. See photos for details of top. It will make a great statement for any office or home!
