
Custom designed island built from antique French architectural parts. Circa 1880's. Sides are French doors washed with paint (see below for color), sealed, and waxed. Door on back are cut from French louvered shutters washed in same color paint and process as sides. Center French iron transom piece on front still has been clean and is sealed. Wrap around transom is finished to match rest of base. Tops are made from 1870 split pine French farmhouse beams stained, sealed, and waxed.
This is a piece designed by Charles Phillips from antique French architecturals. This piece is great for a kitchen island as extra storage, work space, and seating. It can even be used in your outdoor kitchen under a covered porch. This piece would also serve well as a counter in a boutique or store, as both storage and a display.

Wear/Condition
The1870's split pine French farmhouse beams and architectural elements are worn consistent with age and use over time. Excellent condition.
Naturally occurring movement may happen after antique wood is placed in climate controlled spaces.
