Custom designed console table built from French antique architectural elements. Circa 1880's. Sides are made from French iron wrapped in door molding, from the Mediterranean area, washed with paint (see below for color), sealed, and waxed. Front of console is a French iron arch, from a door transom, wrapped in same door molding and finished to match the sides. Sides and front iron pieces still have original paint and have been sealed. Tops are made from 1870's split pine French farmhouse beams which have been stained, sealed, and waxed to give a smooth finish.
This is a piece designed by Charles Phillips from French antique architecturals. This piece is great for under a TV, as a dining room serving piece, as a bar, or in an entry way. It makes a statement in any room of the house!
